About Ozroofracks
Welcome, and a huge thanks to you for your interest in our products.
My name is Pedro Martin and I'm the owner of Ozroofracks.
Living on the Central Coast NSW when I imported my Toyota Hiace Grand Cabin G 4WD 1KZ 3.0 Turbo Diesel 5 Speed 1997/09 (KD-KZH126G) I struggled to find a high roof bracket to fit a roof rack, so I decided to research and manufacture the product you're probably after right now — a roof bracket for high roof vans/buses.
This dream started in Feb 2023 and the first batch of Ozroofracks was gone after one month on the market, and I'm producing non-stop — who would have thought! They're selling in Australia, Japan, New Zealand... to date (17 Jul 2026) we've made 11,880 products!
All the stock is in Australia.
Since I put the product on the market a number of other businesses/companies/individuals are imitating not just the business idea but every single product I design and launch, so don't get fooled: all my products are genuine, engineered, tested, certified, load rated and insured.
No worries at all. I'm quite happy watching how well-known manufacturers follow my ideas, updating/renovating their designs to reinforce their products or add multifunctional slots which they didn't used to have. Some companies even use my photos or concepts. Design is a thing, and Ozroofracks makes the difference.
I'm an Australian citizen trading under my ABN 12928238010 and dealing with suppliers in other countries for a fair bit. My businesses are Websites Builder, Grupo Capoeiras, my beloved PWAs Kerbsides™ Sharing is Caring, Van Life Hub™, Come To My and recently OzyAndBlue. Sum up Ozroofracks that keeps me happily busy.
Any customer is welcome to pick up Click & Collect orders at 73 Cadonia Rd, Tuggerawong NSW 2259 Australia, which just requires an SMS confirmation after you've ordered. We have space for installations on vans and buses, parking (up to 5 vehicles), disability-friendly and easy opening doors, undercover carport, growing to suit our customers' needs. We've just finished renovating the location to make a more comfortable storefront.
This is how Ozroofracks (3.0) looks like right now — July 2026.
A bit more about me: I have dedicated 30 years of my life to the martial arts, I am known as "Formado Comprido" and I am the founder and capoeira teacher for our Australian NFP Grupo Capoeiras Incorporated. We're a provider for the Active Kids & Creative Kids NSW Government program. In 2003 (more than 20 years ago!) I wrote the first capoeira book in Spain, called "Ao som do berimbau: capoeira".
My never-ending Project Kerbsides "Sharing is caring" is more of a passion — I developed the platform a couple of years ago and it's still a work in progress. This recently led me to also develop Van Life Hub, check it out.

I started this adventure at my own risk with the idea of keeping my products apart from other companies, because no one was specifically designing for high roof gutter vehicles. Just after my products came onto the market, more than four companies started manufacturing similar products.
Like most Australian companies in the roof rack sector, Ozroofracks manufactures in China. There are a couple of good reasons for that.
(1) No Australian company was willing to provide a quote to bring the fabrication here, as my production quantities appear to be too small.
(2) To be able to compete on the market I have to produce overseas — manufacturing costs in Australia for my products are sadly steep: while some other well-known Australian companies claim "manufacturing in Australia," the details of exactly which components are made in-house vs imported are not clearly published. "Made in Australia" just means a product has undergone a "substantial transformation" in Australia — the product must have been substantially transformed in Australia, or 50% of the cost of production must have been incurred in Australia. I invite you to do a quick search about any company: Taiwan, Thailand, South Africa and the Middle East are common countries where a part of production is originated. Ozroofracks could state "Made in Australia," but in order to avoid misleading advertising I prefer not to make that statement.
The quality team on the production chain examines every product and package for imperfections, but there's also an additional inspection at the Ozroofracks warehouse before sending your package (you'll see an inspection label with my own signature, as I prepare every single order).
